PLEASE NOTE: Sandia has transitioned to a NEW (Large Style) Pigtail Backpack. Below are instructions for Installation if your current Backpack has the (Old Small Style) Pigtail.
- Remove old pigtail by using a wrench to loosen nut (plastic washer) to unscrew.
- If installing a larger pigtail, carefully drill (or use a hand tool or sandpaper) until pigtail fits through the opening.
Be very careful to not over drill. - Feed the wires of the new pigtail through the opening in the body, then through the nut.
- Grab the pigtail and screw it into the nut while holding the nut in place.
- Use a wrench to tighten the nut once completely screwed in.
